We are delighted to announce that Liv Watson, Vice Chair of XBRL International, has agreed to present a part of the workshop and provide us with her insightful and actual views on the global update on legislated drivers of XBRL. This will include XBRL US and the update of the testimony to the Domestic Policy Subcommittee of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee “Reports technology standard is real, ready and relevant in current financial crisis”.
We are also pleased to note the strong interest for ”Enabling Trust in Financial Reporting”. During the last few weeks we have noted several activities around the financial reporting taken place within the EU as well as in the US. One interesting whitepaper regarding XBRL “Using Standards for Transparency” by Mark Bolgiano, President and CEO of XBRL US, has been submitted to the US Treasury Department and has been provided for you.
